With our appointment scheduling tools, shoppers can book appointments with you and purchase your products and services online. You can offer professional one-on-one or group services directly from your website.
In this article, you'll learn how appointment scheduling works in Mailchimp.
Things to Know
When you create your first service, we'll make a homepage for your website if you don't already have one in Mailchimp.
After you create a service and provide some important details about the consultation type, pricing, and available times, we’ll automatically generate a Service Listing Page on your Mailchimp website as well as an Appointment Confirmation Page.
The service listing page can be visited at a URL under your website's domain. For example, if your website is published at example.mailchimpsites.com, your appointments will be available at example.mailchimpsites.com/book-online. If you don't have a website with Mailchimp yet, this page will also appear at example.mailchimpsites.com. Each individual service you create will have a unique and customizable URL that you can share in an email campaign or social post, like example.mailchimpsites.com/book-online/101-class which takes your visitor directly to that specific service.
Service creation
You can create a One-on-One service where one person can book an appointment at an available time slot.
Upgrading to the Advanced Scheduling paid add-on gives you more options. You can create Group services where multiple people can book an appointment or service, such as a workshop or yoga class, and create unlimited one-on-one or group services. With the paid add-on, you can also remove Mailchimp’s branding from your site.
Once you’ve created your service, you're ready to start booking appointments. A visitor will select an available service, choose an appointment time, and add their contact information. They can also leave additional notes and subscribe to your email marketing.
After reviewing the appointment details and confirming, visitors will see the Appointment Confirmation Page and receive an email with appointment details. They’ll have the option to book another appointment or cancel. You’ll also receive a confirmation email, and can view and manage your appointments on your appointments dashboard.
Customize service pages
When you publish your service, your listing and confirmation pages are immediately available for customers to book appointments with you. We’ll apply any default styles you’ve set for your website but you can customize them as needed.
If you’re working with your service listing page, you can hover over the Services section and choose Manage Services to edit the service itself.
After you create your services and start accepting appointments, you can manage your services and appointments from your appointments dashboard.
From your appointments dashboard, you can see a list of upcoming and past appointments. You can use the Details dropdown to view appointment details or cancel the appointment altogether.
You'll also see a list of your available services from the dashboard. You can Add New Service, Edit, or Delete a service at any time. You can toggle your service availability on or off and copy your service listing page url to share with customers.
